2024 CSSEA AGM and Conference - October 9-11

As CSSEA celebrates its 30^th anniversary in 2024, Fresh Perspectives may seem an unlikely conference theme. We believe, however, that it perfectly encapsulates what the conference will bring. Though CSSEA has been a source for HR/LR best practices and expertise for the last three decades, we continue to strive for innovative ways to look at longstanding sectoral issues. Recruitment and retention, for example, has been a constant topic of interest (and frustration) in our sector and this year, we will examine it from the lens of foreign worker recruitment. Similarly, employers' efforts to incorporate the principles of Truth and Reconciliation have often brought forth questions of 'where to start' and this year, we will have a candid panel discussion on how members can tangibly incorporate the Calls to Action in their workplaces. We also look forward to sharing the insights of keynote speaker and Olympic gold medalist, Adam Kreek, who will offer new ways for attendees to think about optimizing team dynamics and cultivating an elite mindset. There is much to celebrate in this important milestone year and we hope you will join us October 9-11 in Vancouver!
